It was just issued, so I'm guessing it has the August Rollupdate fixes, but I haven't checked it personally.
Checking the description it's exactly that .... updates with all lang recources, as usual. Unfortunately it seems there will be no updated Win 8.1 ISO so far .
@murphy78 @s1ave77 Giving a quick read, it says, I wonder if common users can benefit from this image.?
I would like to create a new base image (starting from my fresh Windows 8.1 iso) which includes the spring update and the august update. Am i correct if i integrate following updates: Code: April update KB2919442, KB2919355, KB2959977, KB2934018 August update KB2993651, KB2975719, KB2993100, KB2979582, en KB2990532 Or is it better to use the updated iso and only integrate the august updates?
KB2919442 is superseded by KB2975061 according to Komm's latest output file. Considering all the files in the DVD, boot wim's and install/installRe wims that must be replaced to have an exactly correct "M$ update 1 ISO" it is easier/better to use the updated iso from M$. That is what I use and slipstream/install post update 1 updates-much quicker accompanied by a lot less aggravation/chances for something to go wrong.
August update (presumably Update2) is not cumulative like Update1 KB2919355 so there is no point of including it only and skipping other monthly rollups
They've had a monthly updates iso every month for as long as I can remember. It's just updates though, it's not a pre-integrated iso. You can easily download them individually if you don't want to download the whole thing. I guess its purpose is for tech guys to archive the updates every month or something.
Very strange, though I wouldn't recommend using them unless MS starts pushing them on WU. Seems like that one guy getting them was an short-term error.
I wouldn't recommend installing the WMF 5 preview unless you're just trying out some of the features. You should wait till the final version for proper usage.
OK, after ..../ResetBase command KUC keeps telling me that 5 updates are missing.I checked the ''installed updates'' and they were there before i ran the /resetbase command, what's happening ? KB2983142 KB2972094 KB2966804 KB2965788 KB2964736
Those updates are superseded by rollup KB2975719 and KB2993651 wait until komm update his utility to support those two
