Does anybody know, where Office 2013 stores the updates (downloaded and extracted)...? (What is equivalent of "\Windows\servicing\Packages" for office - where the cat and mum office update files are stored? Thanks...
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download You will find CAB files and in them are MSP files with updates for office
There's an issue locating one of the companion files for the September 8.1 rollup. The KB2984006 is the rollup pack, but one of the files is incorrectly listed on MS download center as win8-rt version of KB2977174 WU downloads the express version, and MS update catalog uses its own downloader. Someone would need to do some detective work on that. If people are just looking for the integrateable versions, just use IE and MS Update Catalog.
When I try to install KB2995004, I get a message that this file is already installed but it's not. I try to find it in windows update list.
It was probably a last-minute addition. The way that they update these kb articles makes me think that it's not just one source that they're pulling info from, but rather many different databases.
Anyone noticed that the new updates are coming from the winblue_r2 branch, not winblue_gdr as previously?
Well, for Update systems that have KB2919355, KB2975061 become superseded but KB2975061 still needed for RTM systems to install KB2919355
