Windows 8.1 joystick calibration button greyed out?

    You maybe need to set the Driver to Compatibility Mode for the OS Version it were created for!

    Sounds like a good idea. Except that this device didn't come with a driver disc, not for any of the released one's. It just plugs in, and is immediately playable. Any way I can reset the USB-hub/port? As that maybe would reset the whole device.

    You maybe uninstall the USB Hub via Device Manager and that use Refresh for to install again.

    You also cloud check with the Manufacturer of that toy for to update the firmware of that Joystick. Or, they maybe having an extra driver available. Check also with their support (if they have!).

    I had problems with an Thrustmaster Hortas Stick and was need to update the Firmware, for X-Plane 10, just to mention!

    I see. Well, as said, the ShipDriver is discontinued. But I will see if I can do as you stated first in your message here.
