Hello everyone, I have already posted this on another thread. I have a "Windows 8.1 with bing" oem key on my hp laptop. Is there a way so i can transfer and activate this key on my PC, because i won't use the laptop anymore? Will the img from murphy78's thread "CoreConnected edition"(i cannot post links) work on my pc with the key? I already found the oem key on the laptop with belarc advisor..
No you can't. It's tied to your laptop hardware. MS has a hardware hash on their activation server which you can't duplicate. ie, your laptop has a unique id, unique mac address, etc...
Yeah, i know that, but i heard that some people managed to get the key work on another PC, i have to try it i guess..
