    Store update doesn't work for me either, i get error 0x8020002e. Running Win8Pro with Media Center

    Where is the update on Microsoft's page? It still says coming soon.

    Also, does anyone know if
    1) I can update from Windows 8 Pro w/ WMC -> 8.1 preview -> 8.1 rtm, or will I have to reinstall windows after?
    2) Is media center supported on the preview?

    to be honest here in austria (german language) I can't even find an update in the store ;) but the build is still not over, so, maybe l8er ....

    Seems like only EN-US users can successfully update and maybe those who use those 13 languages.

    I'm using Windows 8 Pro x64 Retail (US English) and I installed the update, restarted and got the message. Clicked for it to install and waited....waited....waited...nothing happened. Restarted and still nothing. Uninstalled the update and installed it again...the message doesn't appear.

    I have the same problem. Just have a difference, Turkish version instead of English.

    Unfortunately there is no option to create a media when upgrading :mad:. It simply prompts for reboot to start the process.

    When everything works correct, you get a notification (over the whole screen) about upgrading to Preview.

    :eek:i dont see any notif. maybe cos this update is not on store yet for me

    but this small updates was installed ok

    And then it failed at express setup "Creating your account", I found activity on all other volumes but not on C: ...
    After a reboot it started with rolling back! I'd not suggest to upgrade for the moment.
    Interesting: I could start a cmd with SHIFT+F10 while "creating" account.
