Tried with Windows 8.1 x64 and Windows Server 2012 r2, both crash in any situation, even in VMware. Windows 8.1 x86 is instalable on VMware, but it works pretty bad. I have an old CPU, most likely a certain feature of the CPU, of which on their forums it says it is a must, is missing. Most likely, a similar situation hapend last year for thoose who had a x86 CPU with no NX bit feature, could not upgrade from Windows 7 to 8. Someone on this forum discovered a workaround for that, even if it is pretty buggy, yet. Hopefully something similar will hapend in here as well.
