Yeah, but most developer are getting angry, because they didn´t get 8.1, but pay much money for MSDN or TechNet.. So Microsoft has to react!!!
wait some days and you will see that MS put it at MSDN and TechNet! MS is on the way loosing many developers to Android, IOS etc.
The OS is not finished RTM is not what it used to be. They have said they will still be updating the OS right up to release for public (cop out if you ask me as they can still do that but supply windows update patch's to devs) but yeah. i doubt they will loose devs because of this TechNet and MSDN are not made to get windows early its way more than that. Getting windows early is not even the smallest part of the reason to get one for a dev imo.
Assume, MS never told any one, including internal people that Windows 8.1 reached RTM and release it as RTM on October 18th, will that change your opinion?

A worthy wish indeed - the V8 revving up will wash away all your worries aside from,y'know,mileage worries (though from personal experience - it's not bad at all,especially with the engine turning off half the cylinders when you're not really using 'em )
