just went there and looks like in ru board everyone's waiting for a wz or wzor guy too. Think this may take weeks?
Dude, Wzor is an infamous leaker of Microsoft products. He leaked Windows 7 first, Windows 8 first, Microsoft Office, etc. He's VERY reliable and well known. Google his name. It's been posted twice in the last few pages here.
Sorry if this has been answered a zillion times here, too many pages. I have a registered version of Win 8 pro. What happens if I upgrade to 8.1, will i need to buy a key when it is released?
OK... first attempt with Pro ISO worked, but after the upgrade the ProWMC was reverted to a Pro and was unactivated . Next try with a ProWMC ISO follows when the WIM is created .
Guys, stop messing with the leaked install.wim crap that's ultimately faulty. Wait for the proper ISO leaks.
So I did try doing a data.dat and tokens.dat swap using prowmc legit activation I had from 8.0 prowmc, but I think they changed things around a bit. I didn't play with it too much but basically instead of using %windir%\system32\spp\store it uses %windir%\system32\spp\store\2.0 or something. I tried to copy over the files, but they didn't activate when I rebooted. They must have changed something in the activation besides just the directory, so we'd likely need to generate new legit prowmc saved activations and josh prolly needs update his software *edit: I wouldn't bet on these things 100% though as the install.wim was damaged... we need a non-faulty leak before we really start testing stuff
Just because You can not make it work, why do you keep saying FAULTY... it works, it installs, it boots to, you can access the internet with it, you can networkwith it, and it is faster then Windows 8 RTM. Windows 8.1 RTM is rather nice. I do wish to THANK everybody who posted some new tricks on how to make the fixed install.wim... Yes my Version is FRANKENBUILD because i had to use v9471... but WTH it works...
Ummm, there's multiple errors with it and it's missing files. Try starting a .NET 4 application and see what happens.
