I have already installed windows 8 pro vl. So I am downloading this file. Should I do clean installation or just double click the file and it will get installed itself? What is rollup means.

 

if you have no need for keeping programs, files et cetera you should do a clean installation. If you wanna keep all that stuff you make an upgrade. Rollup means that some hotfixes are included with the RTM iso

 

i checked the hashes of the Dutch 64 and 32 bits, there is no confirmation at Microsoft website.

Thanks for the replies .. but the version downloaded from this thread it's good enough for home users? What is the best version for home users? Core/Pro or Pro VL?

why size of "SW_DVD5_Win_Pro_8.1_64BIT_English_MLF_X18-96634" is 3.59 GB and the size of same VL(as per SH1 showing here) on MSDN is 3674 MB ?
