Windows 8.1 pro show windows 10 icon upgrade

    I make clean install windows 8.1 pro and install updates normaly but not install KB3035583 & KB2952664 and when restart show me windows 10 icon when i check installed updates dont find KB3035583 & KB2952664 but windows 10 icon
    still in on my taskbar why this? MS make new update for the GWX ?did someone knows why i have the w10 icon ?

    i check all these updates except the KB3072318 & KB3044374 / KB3075853 / KB3083325

    You are right. It is really annoying.

    My clean-installed Windows 8.1 Pro updated-to-date:

    1. Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Update > Change settings > Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them

    2. Check for updates > Optional > Hide Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro

    3. Uninstall KB3035583 and restart

    4. Check for updates > Hide KB3035583

    Now, get Windows 10 icon disappeared from taskbar. And In my C-Drive, there are

    1. C:\Users\User-Name\AppData\Local\GWX\TelemetryStore.xml and TelemetryStore.xml.lock

    2. nothing in Task Scheduler Library\Microsoft\Windows\Setup\gwx

    Q: How I check installed KB updates?
    A:

    1. Run the following command in Command Prompt (Admin)
    Code:
    dism /online /get-packages >c:\packages.txt
    2. Open c:\packages.txt with notepad.exe, and find KB3035583

    Sorry for jumping in on this thread, but is there any way possible to uninstall any of the above updates after running the following command:
    Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase

    That i want to tell you i go control panel\updates\ i hide upgrade to windows 10 pro then igo to installed updates and when i check for KB3035583 say

    that not exist and the icon of free upgrade is on task bar not gone is very mystery, that never again i have this proplem all the time i make unistall the

    KB3035583 and is ok this time is different!
