I second that. It was easier to unpin unneeded stuff than to hunt all the executables/shortcuts and pin them one by one. Oh and putting them in "Shell:Start Menu\Programs" does not make them appear on the grid. Such a dick move on ms side
thx @ney2x works perfect. now we just need a tweak to delete the f*cking library folders everywhere shown. at "this pc" there are know registry tweaks, but if you download something or want save samething, the library folders are shown again.
this is known, but this regtweak just removes the folders from "this pc". the "this pc tweaker" does the same h..p://winaero.com/comment.php?comment.news.213
Code: ; Disable use check boxes to select items [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] "AutoCheckSelect"=dword:00000000 ; Enable delete confirmation dialog [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] "ConfirmFileDelete"=dword:00000001 I know they're not amazing anything, but the less thing you have to change after OSD the better.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SystemEventsBroker] "Start"=dword:00000004 reg stability proplem microsoft account setup error... Process Lasso and some programs not work.. taskschd problem... default : 2
Now this seems like an offline integration challenge! Seems like we need a sample xml set to a certain path that we will use static for all x64 versions and also static for x86 versions. Then we need a registry key export after creating the Explorer pathing thing for the xml. Then we need a proper way to reg load/import/unload the start menu xml default thing. Is anyone good with reg hive load/unload that could shed some light on the proper way to load/import/unload?
