single language version comes with a pre installed computer and has only that language available because it is a Core product. Pro can handle all languages by downloading any other languages which are available

you know some similar command for XP 64bit? Because I install the English version, then add the Spanish pack, now I would like to remove completely English thank you very much
... and Start items still are English as it was off new install with none pure German install set. Guess we need to wait until October or upon the server to be opened at Redmond
Had the same issue when I installed the LP after Windows 8.1, then I integrated it to the dvd directly and re-installed it, now these untranslated things works Yet there is still that bug with .NET 3.5 not installing in any way...
NOTE: Installing .NET first seems to be mandatory, before adding langpacks or updates. As tested here at MDL it will refuse being enabled afterwards.
soldier's integratings don't seem to work so far as Start still shows English on tiles guess i'll wait for the real german beef
you think that .net is needed prior to this lp setup? Wondering that it refuses at so many places after some guys want to get the .net stuff done later. Consequence were to uninstall lp, install .net and reinstall lp ??
That can help, but is not a must, unfortunately. Once it happens best is to start from scratch. That´s why i enabled it offline in the WIM directly. Afaik that issue appears in Win 8 likewise.
