Why that hype for those VL versions ... ?

 

Hi PaulDesmond, i searched carefully but i guess i didn't find to correct answer. My laptop that i bought a year ago came with Windows 8 Single Language. I'm using Windows 8.1 Single Language x64 right now but what about the Update, i don't know. What am i suppossed to do about Windows 8.1 with Update? I have access to use a MSDN account. I didn't find a Windows 8.1 Single Language with Update ISO. Do you think the only way that having this Update, we should follow Windows Update or setup 5 different Update file as manual? Sorry for my grammar/spelling mistakes.

as you mentioned, since you have access to MSDN files then you might have noticed that MS does not offer single language files for download (for OEM eyes only). You either update the machine with what is coming out of your line or install a core/pro version off MSDN. Consequence is that your activation will get lost since the SL key is stored in bios. On the other hand you might have access to a genuine key which is available in most of the MSDN subscription areas ... here it is
