Win10_1607_EnglishInternational_x64.iso = en-gb_windows_10_multiple_editions_version_1607_updated_jul_2016_x64_dvd_9058848.iso It contains 10 Home and Pro, because of your oemm for 8.x Core/10 Home the setup will select Home instead of pro, so when the oemm bioskey was for pro, it would have been pro what was installed.
@sytro During a clean install of Windows 10 Redstone 1 [Jul 1607] (build 149393.0) if you had 8 pro originally installed & activated, when you get to the Select the operating system you want to install window , 10 pro and 10 home will be there to choose which one you want. @ Tito thanks again for helping me Edit: During my clean install of Windows 10 Redstone 1 [Jul 1607] (build 149393.0) yesterday, when I got to the Select the operating system you want to install window,(previous activated win7 pro before going to 10 ) both Pro and Home were available, Pro was highlited, but I could select either to install.
That's not correct, from win 10 10586 (1511) and up the oemm bioskey is the deciding factor which edition is selected to install, only a pid.txt or an ei.cfg file can deactivate the autoselecting between Home or Pro (using the Multiple Editions iso's).
Hi Guys, Thanks for all the very very useful information posted on this thread about modding the Spanish version...
window 8.1 iso direct link hi everyone, i just read the 21 pages of this thread but can not find a working link to this windows8 with bing. i need it to install and activate a pc where the backup partition have been erase. i don't want to install windows 10 on it because i am sure it will not handle it correctly. i was able to install any other windows 8 but of course it wasn't compatible with the bios key for activation. is there anyone that could give me a working download link it. i need the 8.1 64bit in french if possible but the english one would do the trick if the first is not available. thank in advance
thank for your input, but it does not help me. the first link bring me to a guide on how to activate different windows type using the bios key and a link ( for the version of windows8 that i need, aka the coreconnected ) to download it, but it just bring me back to this thread where the links not working anymore. and the second link that you provide me is for downloading some software that download all the different type of windows iso ( core, pro, single language...ect ) but not the one that i need ( windows8 coreconnected with bing ), as it was said in this thread that this version can not be downloaded like this.

yes that it thank for your help, i have downloaded both iso, just in case, i will test them tomorow thank again you are a life saver
Yes it's actually just "Update", KB2919355 is the only one that changed the base for Windows 8.1 and became prerequisite for all subsquent updates update 2 & 3 are merely big rollups
this is wrong, IR3 is Update 2 (if you mention 2 & 3) IRM (dvd_27*) <- AKA RTM IRM (dvd_29*) <- AKA Update 1 (or RTM with Update Rollup) (or GDR) IR3 (dvd_40*) <- Update 2 IR5 (dvd_60*) <- Update 3
i am not IRM = RTM ISO IR1 = GA ISO / Store ESD IR2 = refreshed Store ESD the term "Update" was never used before KB2919355 = IR3
in the first post you count from RTM - U3=(IR5) <- in this case your answer is wrong do you know what you say / mean ? now you count from RTM - U2=(IR5) just because you can not admit your mistake ?
What would IR4 be then? According to this thread, IR3 is the April Refresh (when Update 1 was released), IR4 is August (when Update 2 was released) and IR5 is November (when Update 3 was released).
