Find out what SKU it is exactly - there's not only CoreConnected (Windows 8.1 with Bing), there's also CoreConnectedSingleLanguage (Windows 8.1 Single Language with Bing). Maybe this system has a license for the latter SKU.
How can I find that out? Do I need access to the os? It's the typical situation of the user that made an ms account for w8 and forgot the password the next day. I tried the default key for coreconnected, as mentioned on the first post, and it installed successfully but it can not activate now.
Now you're on a running OS, you can run the QT from here and see if and what MSDM is onboard, the GUI report will show you the key for it.
Thanks. Are the results of this app affected by the fact that I have switched the bios to legacy mode?
Stupid question on the above svf files. Can they convert a typical w8.1 iso, e.g. this one "en_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_6051480.iso", to its "with bing" counterpart?
