    @ZaForD

    Microsoft doesn't allow you to download CoreConnected (with Bing).

    Hi!

    I would like to ask for help, an installer to download.
    The following page, but I can not download the beidu on their location.
    If someone could put up a more accessible storage space, I'd appreciate it.

    I am in the process of restoring 2 HP-15 laptops for a friend at work. Her children filled them with malware and so I went to reload them with a 8.1 ISO using their BIOS keys and then I got no dice. So after my reading I have pulled down the SL ISO and this ISO in the first page hoping one of these 2 versions work. The recovery media I created doesnt work that HP creates on a flash drive for me.

    This whole experience has only further fueled my hatred for Win 8 and reminded me why I still run 7 Pro. Maybe 10 will be different but these kind of hoops and nonsense just to slick a product someone already paid for with a license are absolutely ridiculous.

    Thank you for the information posted in this thread though, will be helpful in my quest to repair these for my friend.

    Used the iso in the first post, worked great. Still dont like win 8, but the resource helped my efforts to get these back into shape.

    Hello,

    I have a "Windows 8.1 with bing" oem key on my hp laptop. Is there a way so i can transfer and activate this key on my PC, because i won't use the laptop anymore? Will the iso from the OP work on my pc with the key? I already found the oem key on the laptop with belarc advisor..

    What is the Win10 upgrade path for 8.1w/Bing? Is the standard Home Edition is will there be a special low cost edition? I can't test it myself because all my Bing PCs are already activated with 10 Pro.

    A few people have tried updating their tablets 'W8.1/w Bing' to 'W10 Home' and it failed. (See the Installs Sticky in the W10 setion) I was waiting to see if anyone tried the 'W10 Home Single Language' I saw in Murphy's 10240 thread. But not seen anything yet. :confused:

    Like Bezalel, mine are on W10 Pro already, so I can't try it.

    I upgraded from the iso in the first post to Win10 Home without any problems on an Asus X205.

    Asus X205TA

    I'm trying to do that right now. My X205TA's recovery partition is corrupt and won't install 10 or reset 8.1.
    I've been trying to use the IMG in the first post to install a fresh 8.1 with Bing again from USB and from there to Win10.
    The X205TA just isn't booting off my 8.1 with Bing USB though. It boots fine off the W10 USB I made with the media creator tool. Do those images work or is it because they are IMG not ISO? Any help appreciated.
