I know lots of people use the media creation tools but I've found them to be a little 'Hit n Miss' Especially the MS media creation tool as it formats the USB drive with NTFS which can't be used on UEFI based devices. Rufus is a lot better, though I still prefer using Diskpart. But either one should get you a 'Fat32' formatted USB Install drive.
Thanks to the conversion script, i have successfully downloaded and converted the Spanish "Core Connected Single Language" image to US English edition. I have performed several clean installs with the disc and everything works great . Now i would like to update the image with latest update roll up. Can i just download the 'Update 3" aka 'November Update Roll-up" and use DISM to integrate it to the WIM ? ( without adding the 'August Update Roll-up KB2975719 ).
Hello abbodi1406 It seems I cannot find explanation to where can I run your script (I'm talking about creation of Windows 8.1 Single Language with Bing - BingSingleLanguage.cmd). Should it be run on the same laptop where image will installed or it can be run on any laptop? Why I'm asking is because I have 6 laptops from a friend and she wants to revert them to original Windows 8.1 Single Language with Bing as currently they have expired Windows 7 that does not even have all drivers (HP problem - providing drivers only for installed OS). I can read Product Keys from BIOS - don't know if it is needed in this scenario. So, will it work if I create ISO file (from your post where Spanish .img is used) on my own laptop and then apply it to those 6 laptops or should I create the ISO on every laptop individually? If yes, will it not be a problem that they have expired Windows 7? Also, I found Windows 8.1 Single Language with Bing Pre-release. It installs fine, activates, even accepts laptop's Product key (although It probably is not necessary), it updates fine with first round of small updates, but then permanently goes into Repear state after one big update "Windows 8.1". Thanx, it was working fine. I created Windows 8.1 Single Language with Bing en-US ISO and successfully installed it on 6 HP 250 g3 laptops. Great work!!!
Any chance I could convince you to make this available? I'm in need of this to restore functionality to a generic compute stick which shipped with Win 8.1 CCSL en-US...

Windows 8.1 with (Spring 2014) Update with Bing (Core Connected Single Language 6.3.9600.17031) 32/64-bit (Spanish-Spain, es-es) - links are not alive, can anyone share it
