    That could be done using the old package (v1, v2), because it applies (extract) the system image which makes it servicable
    but with v3, the image is directly exported to a separate wim file, so no servicing operations available

    anyway, the package is ment to produce an untouched images as much as possible.

    however, you can copy "Creating ei.cfg file" section from Selection3 to Selection4 (same order before "Creating ISO file")

    i can make an option wether the user want to create iso or not
    nah, doesn't worth the trouble :bye:

    Core and Pro are available for all langs, but MSDN iso is better :D

    So, If i have windows 8 single language installed, can i get this esd file myself from the store if I upgrade to 8.1 ?

    Where would it be saved ? on a x64 system ?

    Yes

    The original "encrypted" file will be downloaded to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
    and you can see the download link in C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log file

    when the Store progress bar reach 50%, this means the download is completed
    the next 50% will be for the install/upgrade process

    so, when the progress is completed 100% and you are prompted to restart, you can close the prompt and go to C:\$Windows.~BT (hidden system folder)
    and there you will see a install.esd file inside sources folder, this file is decrypted

    if anyone interested in converting cutom install.esd to install.wim or vice versa, script in the signature.

    @Abbodi, the whole process with the ISO is OK in 20 minutes, but a small error :
    Exporting ESD Index 4 to a new install.wim.file
    Exporting Image 100%
    The operation completed successfully
    (WARNING) 22813 stream(s) had incorrect reference count

    Is it severe ? Thank very very much
