Yep, it checks the key channel and edition to decide which ESD to download. But it doesn't seem to check the security parameter and validity of the provided key. You can use a generated key with proper GroupID and KeyID (the easiest way is using the same parameters as the default key except for the secret) as long as it's not blocked due to the limit of download counts.
As low windows 8.1 single language pt br? I'm trying to download but it is on a server that I can not download ... How to proceed? sorry for bad english ...
...goto the first page of this thread - select the distribution you want. ...open the link (Jheberg.net webpage) Scroll down to the bottom of the webpage (see pic 1) - Click on the orange box that says: 'télécharger Le Fichier'. - this opens a new webpage (see pic 2), you can select any of the available hosts to download from. View attachment 29707 - View attachment 29708 Just checked, the release you're after is available (atm, 8 hosts)
ISO then that comes with the meter running applications on the desktop? Or do I have to upgrade from windows 8.1 update 1?
The distribution you downloaded is 8.1 update 1. (latest) /edit/ What 'meter running applications' are you ref. to?
so guys, I managed to download the file ... just came in. ESD, how to convert an ISO format to burn to a DVD or a USB stick?
I bought a Lenovo G505 pre-installed with Win8 (x64- Single Language). The OS has been activated. However, the Win8.1 update from the Store is gonna take too long for my Internet connection (512kbit), plus there is a chance that the download will break and restart from 0% thereby wasting data, so finally I landed here after searching for any workaround. First of all, I have read the OP and the instructions are clear. Thank you for this. Am I correct in presuming I should be downloading the Windows 8.1 Single Language x64 en-US ESD file, since I'm currently at Win8 Single Language (country is India so en-US I'd guess)?? Also, the Win8.1 update through Store is 3.62GB, whereas the direct downloadable ESD file is 2.47GB? Why is there such a difference in size? In the OP, under the Usage spoiler, the 6th remark says "The decryption package works on +Windows7 systems." It means Win7 and above right? Executing the 4th option from the decryptor will create an standard ISO file. I have BurnAware, and I can use it to create a bootable disk using the image. My main worry is the product key and activation for Win8.1. If I make a boot disk, then the entire drive will be formatted and if I'm asked for a product key then the OEM key that is present in BIOS should work, am I correct?? Will it activate properly? Or will the key be auto-entered from the BIOS? If I don't boot from a disk and instead choose to install from the ISO itself (accessed through Daemon Tools of course), it believe no formatting will be required, and it will be just a simple OS upgrade. Is that correct? Once again, thanks in advance. Really appreciate you guys putting it out here, and helping people.
Yupz.. (check your installed OS language) - never test before. but I sure that you can decrypt ESD on your current OS yupz, u can. Install with generic Key. nad activate using your OEM Key. (typed Manualy) Never test. Clean Install more better.
The decryption package program can be run on Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 but the decrypted file installs Windows 8.1.
