Ahh... some sneaky guy musta removed the trails on the files he sent me. Also, I coulda swore we switched a couple things for download links before. Perhaps it was a different direct download link and not a store download link.
Yeah, those were links for the windows 8.1 setup box that require valid oem/retail key OSGS14-ProESDwithApps*.esd i checked them and still the old ones
List of the included updates in the IR4 ESDs: Spoiler Code: KB2975061 KB2919355 KB2975719 KB2920189 KB2922229 KB2926765 KB2931358 KB2931366 KB2932046 KB2934018 KB2937220 KB2937592 KB2938439 KB2938772 KB2939153 KB2939471 KB2939576 KB2949621 KB2950153 KB2954879 KB2955164 KB2956575 KB2957189 KB2958262 KB2958263 KB2959626 KB2959977 KB2961072 KB2962140 KB2962872 KB2964718 KB2964736 KB2965142 KB2965500 KB2965788 KB2966407 KB2966804 KB2966870 KB2967162 KB2968599 KB2969817 KB2971203 KB2971850 KB2972280 KB2973201 KB2973351 KB2973448 KB2974008 KB2976978 KB2979582 KB2980654 KB2990532 KB2993651 Embedded Lockdown Manager KB2959936 arranged by the order of integration as in Sessions.xml (well, except the first 3, all other are arranged alphabetically numerical) sadly, some updates are superseded
Oooh... I hope we also get updated vl versions and oem leaks somehow. Even though a lot of those are superseded, that's still a lot of pending updates we can get past by using these images.
Yeah vl versions would be nice, but converting it to volume channel takes only ~20 sec anyways so meeh.
Sorry for my ignorance guys, but I downloaded installed single language and when I go to Windows Update I still need 40 odd updates,am I doing something wrong,or am I expecting an up to date Iso,sorry if its a thick question feel free to ridicule me..lol
Thanx for reply Atari I was definatly under the impression it was a new iso ,ah well we live in hope...........Thanx
It's like atari said, these contain some updates, but not all. Actually the reason we're so interested in these latest versions is that they contain "more" updates than the simple "with Update" isos we had previously. So, they have less updates that are required to make them current, and they still need a fair bit. Considering the size of some of the updates they put in these, they're definitely worth getting. The problem, for someone like me, is that it doesn't work for an AIO unless "ALL" of your images have the same starting point. If you mix and match various pre-integrated versions, you'll have to accommodate for both the integrated data and also the pre-integrated data, ironically making the end result much larger.
