    C:\ESD\dism\dism.exe is not a valid Win32 aplication.
    Thanks for your help,but I'm giving up,and I will search an MSDN iso,too much headache on a good old XP.
    Best Regards!

    have you tried the wimlib script version? It might work since it doesn't use dism.

    As murphy78 pointed, use the wimlib script, it works on XP

    Windows 8.1's DISM doesn't work on less than Windows 7

    The export function and performance is still the same, no point of updating it

    Dism can't service higher build version, but still can handle the wim file (info, export, mount.. etc).

    AFAIK, yes. This part shouldn't be necessary:
    Code:
    if "%editionid%"=="ProfessionalWMC" (
    echo.
    echo ===============================================================================
    echo Integrating Generic WMC Tokens
    echo ===============================================================================
    echo.
    pushd .\bin
    "%wimlib%" update "%~dp0install.wim" 1 < wim-update.txt 1>nul 2>nul
    popd
    )

    My hopes are with MS likewise. After the last month big b*stard update and the ones from this month my WIM got 'slightly' bloated :weeping:.

    Are you sure without tokens it accept WMC keys for clean install?
    i only added those tokens because users reported that WMC upgrade keys are not accepted

    but i personally never tried or tested any of the situations

    Need help
    I have downloaded the '9600.17053.winblue_refresh.140923-1144' .esd file which is 'ir4_cpwmca_x64frer_en-gb_esd_61dab8fe0b6edf04b31606daa66a0cb951b1ebd8.esd' precisely [Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center (ProfessionalWMC)].

    After downloading I have successfully converted the .esd file into ISO file named 'IR4_CPWMCA_X64FRER_EN-GB_DV9'

    But the problem is when I try to install that, that's not accepting any sort of keys. I've tried all Windows 8.1 ISO installation keys (list given below) along with my original purchased retail key, but not a single key worked for me for that ISO. It always displaying the message 'this key won't work with this edition of windows. try a different key'.

    So, in this regard I need your help that which key to insert there? Please help me out.

    List of Windows 8.1 Pro ISO Installation Keys tried:---------------------------------------------------------

    -C9WKB (Generic Windows 8.1 Pro Key)

    -9D6T9 (Windows 8.1 Pro KMS Key)

    -B4FXY (Windows 8.1 Pro N KMS Key)

    -D3VPT (Generic Windows 8.1 Core/Home Key)

    -9D6TC (Generic Windows 8.1 Single Language Key)

    -MKKG7 (Windows 8.1 Enterprise Key)

    -JFFXW (Windows 8.1 Enterprise N Key)
