    Only time will tell. But since this promo thing has been out for days now, I'm guessing Microsoft just want more people to go from pirate to legit, even if this means selling a brand new Windows OS at a very very low price. And I'm also guessing this is working out.

    May be I missed this .... but can anyone confirm if the upgrade key works with both 32bit AND 64bit ISO??? (whether it is the downloaded ISO or RTM DVD ISO)

    Dylzen I totally agree MS has to get this out to the masses even if it means for 14.99 or there sales of early windows 8 adopters sales will be dismal.

    guys a little confusion...suppose il activate my windows 8 pro with this upgrade key and bring a hardware change to my pc will the key still work ??

    You have to enter this promo code in the Windows 8 Upgrade Advisior during checkout.

    where go get 64 bit OS ISO's without the need of WUA? i have xp 32 bit and get no option to make ISO ;)

    Is this the 64bit Win8 Pro ISO to get below?? I do not see a non-VL Win8 Pro ISO available; is the VL version what everyone uses here when they mention Win8 Pro ISO??

    Thanks kmetek but I do not see the "PRO" in "en_windows_8_x64_dvd_915440.iso" ... versus the "PRO" mentioned in "en_windows_8_pro_vl_x64_dvd_917699.iso".
    This is what confuses me about which one is exactly the RTM Win8 PRO .ISO
