I found that I used the same email addy w/ my billing info. So I suppose my warning may not be correct.
wrong, all you have to do is sign up at the offer page, and put in your email. I just did it, so unless you're doing it the right way, and not just using the codes posted in this thread, you're doing it wrong anyway.
Maybe you are not eligible i tried also with valid key and didn't succeed, but with other valid key was sucesfull. .
Try a not eligible key, I used the one from my notebook that was bought back in February and it worked.
Anyoneknows if I have to use/activate the Windows 8 upgrade keys until January, or itis only in regard with Windows Media Center Offer? I have purchased three keys and I am not going to use all of them, maybe justtwo of them, and one code left yet to decide to purchase one more key or not.
"The last day to register and order your Windows 8 upgrade is 28 February 2013." Well, above quote is for registration and order. So the Product Keys should still be eligible for installation after that date.
There are retail keys so you can install them when ever you want, but you need to buy a key before 28 february.
Hello my son in airforce in Korea and I was late getting the upgrade code for 14.99 any one have a extra ? would be very thankful.

Bummer, I missed this post. I tried several methods to insyall and they all have failed. I finally gave up and installed win7 then win8 over the top of it. Got tired of pulling my hair out. lol I'll try this method next time and see if it works. Thanks -=Mark=-
Typical M$, trying to get you to buy the DVD version as a solution. Keys are valid for 32 or 64-bit versions, I know as I messed up first time and ended up with the 32-bit download. All you have to do is run the upgrade wizard from a 64-bit installation... it could be a machine at work, or even any Windows 7-64 downloaded from digital river, just install that on your 64-bit machine and bypass the product key. The upgrade wizard will (or at least the version I used a week ago will) let you download the upgrade even though your Windows 7 isn't activated. Then just create an ISO and there you have it. Or I dare say just acquire the ISO from somewhere unofficial. You'd need to use the slmgr /rearm trick to activate it of course.
I got in on the $14.99 deal before they shut it down but I do a lot of clean installs for people and need both the 32 and 64 bit versions. I got the 64 bit when I bought the upgrade. It would be extreme but I guess I could do a 32 bit install of Win 7 and then use the downloader and it would give me the 32 bit. Every place I know to go whether torrent of these uploading sites are so slow and take days to download unless you join crap.
All you have to do is fill out the upgrade offer form with your correct information (email address) and input any new laptop model number and retail store to get your free upgrade code..
