Ok. Basically my computer boots too fast for its own good, if i disable fast start up then i have no issues and everything works fine, if i enable fast start up my network drives don't get mapped, i assume this is because windows is loading too fast for the network adapter or something along those lines. Can it be fixed ? It's a bit of a shame to have to disable fast start up . IP address is static.
mostly the software is doing this for good. Perhaps it cannot call the appropriate driver for immediate response? Updates ....
Keep fast startup turned off. Does it really matter if your computer boots in 5 or 10 seconds? You can't be that occupied.
I have this happen as well, but it doesn't really bother me. Happens to me even with Fast Startup disabled from Power Settings (should only affect Shutdown to Cold Start though). I use UEFI.
Yeah im UEFI too, p8p67 board now (as of about an hour ago) on 8,1, i was on 8 and the same issue. Latest mobo drivers installed.
