Woo! Downloading... now all I have to do is figure out how to extract the WinPE-SRT (and related) packages from the Windows 8.1 boot.wims, and I'm set.
Do us a favor and upload them somewhere after you find them. I seem to recall this WinPE-SRT being a hassle last year as well. EDIT: Did you check the winre.wim inside the mounted install.wim Props to baselsayer for uploading the wget script.
I'll see what I can do - I'm much more of a downloader than an uploader, and therefore don't have any accounts... maybe I can (ab)use all that SkyDrive space MS offers me. That would be ironic. I'm still hunting the Vista WinPE-SRT package myself, along with WinPE 2.2 (the build 6002-based version), even after all these years. Yes, I'm that sad.
Is there an updated script for the WDK released in october 2013? There's a new folder called "Patches" with a few more files not present in previous versions
I can give you the list of folders and files, but I don't know the URL. I suppose I have to install WireShark to get those URLs??
These new files are located in the folder "Patches\8.100.26020": Code: Application Compatibility Toolkit-x64_en-us.msp Application Compatibility Toolkit-x86_en-us.msp Assessments on Client-x86_en-us.msp Assessments on Server-x86_en-us.msp User State Migration Tool-x86_en-us.msp Volume Activation Management Tool-x86_en-us.msp Windows Assessment Services-x86_en-us.msp Windows Assessment Toolkit-x86_en-us.msp Windows Deployment Tools-x86_en-us.msp Windows PE x86 x64-x86_en-us.msp Windows System Image Manager on amd64-x86_en-us.msp Windows System Image Manager on x86-x86_en-us.msp WPT Redistributables-x86_en-us.msp WPTx64-x86_en-us.msp WPTx86-x86_en-us.msp
Copy this file next to the new adksetup.exe, Rename it from txt to md5. Verify none of the original 154 files in the installer folder have changed. (i expect adksetup.exe to be off)
