    Yah, same file.

Though adding MSDM table in bios is theoretically possible (I know you want to test the ISO in VMWare ;)), it is basically useless cause the key should be bound with hardware hash of the machine.

Oh yeah I know it would be useless, not expecting it to activate or at least not for long- I want to see if the AIO I will make will auto-detect the key and install the appropriate edition and seeing how CSL hasn't been on any machine I have the honor of working on as of yet, I do not think I will be able to test in live.

    Hi All,

I'm just thinking about that is there any ways to add a MSDN Key - Windows Pro into BIOS ? just in case I re-install Windows in the future ... It will automatically detect key instead of entering product key. thanks all

Far easier just adding key to a PID.txt file in sources job done.

    [PID]
    Value='Enter Product Key Here'

do not enter the brackets i,e use Value=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

thanks urie & Tito for your info.

I have an another question. I've just bought a Laptop with installed windows 8.
I used RW-Everything to back-up Product Key ...... Can I use that Key to activate other LAPTOP ? OR that key only uses for the PC that I've bought ?

    Thanks in advance

I would if it didn't take hours to upload a single GB. This thing is 4.20GB (hahaha) iso. Also, its against MDL rules to post such things.

You do realise that modified ISO files are not permitted on MDL.

    Hi there,

Since you guys seems to have a lot of experience in making AIO isos, can you hint me to a tutorial on how to make one merging windows 7 and 8?
I've seen a lot around for either 7 or 8, but none yet for both at the same time.

I do not find that in the rules thread but after looking and looking I finally found this:

Which if looked at from what it says could mean either no modified ISO's period or just no W7 modified ISO's.

If it means no W7 modified ISO's then I could post this smartversion file or even the ISO but if it does mean no modified ISO's period then I will not, but that also means the Windows 8 CoreSingleLanguage links need to be removed. I (and unknown to who else) have smartversion patches for those here as well and I have modified the install.wim to include the Pro edition to cut down on file size of the smartversion patch.

It only refers to public posting, you could still PM anyone interested.

I PM'ed urie and he says that modified ISO's period are not allowed, doesn't mater if its Win7/8/Vista, or even windows 3.1.

He did say how ever that smartversion patches are allowed. Just as long as its converting a original iso to another original.

Count me as being interested. I could make it myself but I don't have much time anymore.

I guess I'm Not following why you need multiple sources ? If you started with the RU version then that's the before and the AIO is the after correct?

I said smart version and delta patches were allowed from original iso to original iso for conversion not modified.

And P.S. I have posted subject up in moderator forum as I mentioned to clarify the rules to try and save confusion.
