Same here, had 2 times at login a black screen though (saw mouse and could open task manager etc.) but no real desktop/taskbar.
But that was problem in hybrid boot, do restart from logon screen and fixed. :)

Appears to be a bug***, if u press instead ctrl+alt+canc to log on ctrl+canc+pag down(the buttons are near on keyboard just for distraction.....o_O, it appears or black screen or bluefish one), with only command prompt available, if you push ctrl+canc+pag up it returns to ugly guy logon.....without need to reboot...

It happen few times because i'm sometimes bumb don't watching the keyboard

I say bug*** but maybe a new light log-on type Just for some functions(play music, surf the net and check mails[already read in the past but i do not if real...]

    :D

Guys...7955 is a very nice build. Pre-M3 is unstable but nowhere near as much as 798x...it isn't worth installing those builds they are very messy and buggy...

There isn't really much difference between the latest leaks and 798x series...since there is no shsxs.dll or other 'key' to unlock the goodies i.e immersive...I guess we will only get a taste of that in beta...;)

MS is making a mistake using MoSh as the default UI. It's too unstable...too many crashes and it just looks like a giant Windows Phone...

I hope they show the original interface at BUILD...I don't think they will change it much...the old Windows UI in Windows 8 will just be the same as Windows 7 but with large buttons and straight lines...:(

This immersive is ugly and slow...what are you doing MS...o_O

What? you can't be serious.. you don't want them to use it as default UI cause it is unstable and has too many crashes in a INTERNAL, ALPHA Milestone not supposed to be leaked?.... ????

ImmersiveUI is far from ugly and slow, heck D9/Computex isnt for Developers but OEM's and press, so they only show the real obvious new things, that also <WORK>, they will show way more on the BUILD event, as this is aimed at 'Everyone'

and im not sure how ppl compare it to WP7? ever saw the OS really? ok it got 'blocks' but just because the win8 startmenu has now 'blocks' too, it does not look like wp7 AT ALL... wtf really? It's just the same Concept

and don't forget... using win8 does not mean you are forced to use the new Startmenu (the new 'ui' they showed)

How about you provide some real Critic, even though its completly unreleated to the actual topic?
