Windows 8 Anti-Virus.

Any clear consensus on what is the BEST antivirus program for Windows 8 yet?

 

Yes. Kaspersky, Norton, and BitDefender are currently working with their full capabilities (AV, HIPS, Firewall, Proactive Defense, SONAR, KSN, etc.) on Windows 8.

 

I am using AVAST.

 

I try eset nod32 v.5 and my windows is corrupted
Fortunately win 8 have system restore features

 

McAfee Antivirus plus, workin' fine on 64bits.

 

I am using Nod32 v5 on 32bit windows 8 pro without any issues.As mentioned in previous posts, set the update channel to pre release updates.

 

It's working now after i download the latest nod32 and set them to pre-release update thanks

Has anyone been able to Avria Free working?? I won't install for me at all :-(

Microsoft's built in antivirus is not as good as paid antivirus engines ....better to use a good antivirus software with windows 8 .... i prefer kaspersky internet security ...but i haven't tested if it works with windows 8 or not ..and kaspersky is going to launch new version 2013 which will be compatible with windows 8 ...so just wait 4 it ..

 

kaspersky IS 2013 just got released so defently getting that.

 

I use Kingsoft Antivirus. Usually use Norton but the newest is still in Beta. any thought on Kingsoft Antivirus
