I'm looking for ar_windows_8_x64_dvd_915454.iso SHA1:9FD5418450EC666E414CD598FD4609E995C32B60. I have an Arabic OEM key and it will not activate anything but the single language version. The Windows 8 media creator will also not work with it.

    Thanks.

I was under the impression a Win 8 key will not activate an 8.1 install at all, even via phone activation?

Nope, keys are still valid. Only limitation is that Win 8.1 won't gather the key from BIOS/UEFI automatically. Only exception are MAKs (and gVLKs) :cool2:.

    no it will just perfectly

the only difference is, during setup, when prompted to enter your key, do not enter your REAL windows 8 Single Language key, instead, you need to enter the `Windows 8.1 single Language Default Installation key. that's not a real key that you can activate Windows with, it's simply for installation then when you are in windows use your real key to activate over the internet, you don't even need to call it'll work

If the ESDs are used there's fortunately no need to enter keys at setup, abbodi1406s script creates an ei.cfg file :good3:.
