wtf is soft coal? Edit; google translates as soft coal, bing as soft medium, guess they mean the ISO???
Oh it's all back. Neowin affirms it was Microsoft doing all this: neowin.net/news/microsoft-forcing-closure-of-many-windows-8-based-sites-and-twitter-feeds?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
moderators should delete the comments of those who ask deliberately for leaks, but I think we can't ask them that, it's a lot of work and I'm sure they have their own lives. Canouna? how are you doing today? I heard that some guys used your name and Zukona's on some websites, did you managed to do something about it? Edit: moderators shouldn't close the thread's, wouldn't it be better to warn the nasty users? or disable their accounts? maybe then they will keep their mouth closed
Can you confirm that the reason for not leaking is a traceable hashtag? Paul Thurrott said he hasn't seen anything like that in any of the builds he has.
Yes devs would have time to change the checks.. but we are talking about backwards compatibility here and sometimes with software that may not be supported or updated. So while new software or updated software could be fixed /updated Microsoft is looking at overall picture and relies that people want their software to work and also most people don’t want to have to get updated versions just to install it all the time. While this is not ideal (meaning you and me always want the latest and greatest software and all the patches and updates. ) it the reality of the software world. And they have to take that into account being as their os is the most used.
Well shame on those guys What did Zukona said about using his name, or did it happen before to him and to you? About the leak, well if it comes it's oke if now that's ok either, the last few days were awful and I don't want to get through that again, I already lost hope for a leak and don't mind it at all if it happens or not, thanks to God, and to moderators from MDL that everything is more clear now on the forum and more quite than before. it's not that, the hashes are easy to change, just edit the iso or change the filename
Good decision to reopen the thread for anyone I hope after the mess of last days we'll focus more on the info Canouna and others would give us, instead asking for a leak that won't happen before Beta. After all, 7 runs pretty well, are we so in hurry to replace it? We'll have time to play with 8, just it's not the right moment.
That looks pretty cool but could be transparent or something. Everything's starting to look like Office, and it's not faked, Paul Thurrott and Rafael Rivera are people that deal with Windows for years and years, and got all sources possible.
God, that's ugly. Really ugly. I don't see the point to mess the Explorer with a ribbon. What will be next move? Put the ribbon on Windows Media Player? Better not to exaggerate with that kind of interface.
