    Err.. what? You saying there is NO native pdf support in Win 8? Maybe just not in your build?

    His build is the latest. Either Rafael unlocked it, or it's an app. Maybe we can get a comment ;)

    He probably unlocked it, Paul did say that most of this stuff is locked down.

    from what i hear, some other checks are also bypassed with special activation keys, i may be wrong here though :/

    It is locked down. You can't just run the exe either. Also, you can't assign PDF's to open with it.

    It simply doesn't run

    yeah, it's dx11, windows wddm driver ddi version by default is 10.1 ;)
