If the native PDF software built in Windows performs as sluggish as resource-hog Adobe Reader, I will not use it, and instead rely on Foxit Reader. Let's hope that native PDF support in Windows 8 can operate as fast as Foxit Reader.
I didn't know that DX version # was tied to the build #. I can't imagine a new dx for each corresponding build.
"No more BIOS slick activation hack's in Windows 8. It's feauturing system called "OA3.0"." THX for Zuko the info.
Modern Reader is a standalone app, so there is no reason to believe that PDF reader already integrated and will be, IMHO. We shall just wait.
Hope it will be integrated. Windows is the ONLY OS that doesn't have built-in PDF support. Since PDF is a standard, there aren't any more excuses to avoid it.
Hello Angel of despair, good idea and nice work, keep going... useful and pre taste of Windows 8 thanks man....
@canouna: So, finally, Windows now supports ISO mounting... But i just want to know, does it also support native ISO browsing?? And, can we edit the contents of an ISO image like for example, adding or deleting a file and then re-building the ISO image??
I hate that grey bar on the top with Admin displayed on it... Doesn't suit the tile at all! And i wish there are some images next to Switch user, Log off and Log PC...
