    Ok, so basebrd.dll contains the recourses that control the versioninfo in winver and computerpropperties?

    Wasn't sure if this was the right place to post this but here goes, found some differences in the way that W8 handles touch input compared to windows 7 see here: youtube.com/watch?v=tbt7na8lOcI sorry for the bad quality

    I'm curious about it, since it's supposed to have the new kernel :D

    AFAIK it doesn't have a new kernel. It's just that the system version was bumped to 6.2. Surely, there are some changes in the kernel, but they are not big (at least now), and there are more to come.
