Thanks for the info . I really hope that W8 will be a new concept and not just W7 SP2 + Eyecandy. I expect a change, like from XP to Vista (but in a possitive way)
You're misunderstanding things. It will have a new kernel VERSION NUMBER, not a completely new kernel. Windows hasn't had a new kernel since NT 3.1, when it replaced DOS (This was the first version of NT, they started at 3.1 for some reason). Developing a new kernel isn't a trivial task. However, there have been major changes to the kernel throughout the years, most notably with Windows Vista. There's probably not alot of NT 3.1 code left anymore.
It shouldn't come up non-genuine unless you changed the date before activating. I installed 10/23 no problem.
Has anyone managed to work out a way to install IE9 RTM? I so far have tried: Running the installer in compatibility mode - fails due to a required update. Replacing all the IE9 files. IE starts then closes right away. Not sure why I want to try this, I just do
What is this? - And thanks for the help. @sCooBy^ - I appreciate the reply, but all I get from that pic is you have activated Win8.
Is there any improvements over the IE version that comes with this build? I am thinking maybe this IE9 beta it was optimized for 8.. if that makes any sense. It is v 9.0.7850.0 after all..
