    i really want to install this on my laptop. is there any sugsested os for oem laptop rather than this one? :confused:

    Can someone please please re upload the dell oem iso... all the links r down n the pirate bay has no seeders...

    That brings up a question I have - if you don't mind me asking...

    If you have a laptop with UEFI BIOS that originally shipped with Win 8- can you do a fresh install (assume the laptop's HD failed) with a MSDN Win 8.1 iso using Rufus?
    Will 8.1 activate from the UEFI BIOS even though the original OS was Win 8?

    thank you so much for the info i have been trying n failing to create a useable en-us version using Dism hopefully the 8.1 iso thingy would work can't believe Microsoft left their customers high n dry :/

    Tnx all, where can one obtain an Win8.1 Core or Pro SingleLanguage OEM - untouched iso or make similarity iso from svf?

    you can get it off the pirate bay the one by WZT works :) i got mine up n running using tht iso with a ei.cfg file to skip the serial key request, and entering my OEM key after installing to the activation window :D no command prompt or other wizardry needed :)

    1 general question
    Does the Laptop Manufacturer matter when it comes to OEM selection?
    I mean, Can I use Dell OEM though I use HP Laptop?

    What really is the difference using the OEM Windows 8.1 CoreSingleLanguage and the Windows 8 Retail or Volume? Do I still need to activate if I use the OEM?
