Hi, I have an ISO file of Windows 8.1 With Update contains updates up to June 2014, whether this patch works for Windows 8.1 With Update? Thanks.

 

Ok so how do I figure which ,if any, do I need on my ancient laptop ( Compaq preasio v2000) I have been trying to install 8-10 preview of windows and none will install

I haven't checked yet, but are you sure that the files labeled as patched are actually the patched ones ?

(before you ask, I tried the the file from 9600 patched by myself with jan's tool and the pc boots fine, then there are other problems because the version mismatch)

 

If I'm not mistaken, the files posted by moderate are NOT patched, it's a collection of all versions up to 2014-11-18. It certainly makes it easier in case Jan1 decides to update his patcher (he created the topic, don't know if he also created the patcher), but his last post was in March 2014....

 

If so, what's the purpose of the folders "original" and "patched"

 

Sorry, never downloaded the file before, my comment was based on his post, I thought it was just a compilation for someone else to patch but now I see he included original and patched files for each version.

Check the CRC for the original and patched files, if they're different then it most probably is patched.

Well I got lazy, so I just took the patched files from moderate overwriting the original ones.
And it worked a charm on 8.1 x86.

Hello bros, cannot install WU KB2950153 for 32 bit laptop, neither with manual install.
error code 80073712.
I've tried also with the microsoft workaround troubleshooter(three methods). Doesn't work too.
Any help is very appreciated.

Would be just amazing if Jan1 update his patcher for Windows 10. It would have a great look on old hardware. I have x64 processor on 478 socket and it can run even w8.1 x64 with this patch. Really looks great.

What is the latest version of the patch and where can i download it?

Hi to everyone.

I've been busy on other projects, away from working with my confusers and my mind must be going (old age and all). I'm doing some upgrading on several PC's taking them from XP to Windows 10. My hangup is finding the W8cpufeaturepatch.exe. I can't find it, figure out how to find the file, download and in general feel like a fool. If anyone can set me on the right path I would be very happy.

At the risk of being seen as stupid. Can you please explain the link you show. I've tried to copy and paste it but I just don't get it right.
