I was able to change the key as per your post... However, after that when i used slmgr /dlv, it still showed remaining rearm count=0.

 

Is anyone working on how to reverse engineer how the rearm works?

 

Not exactly... We are trying the same old tricks we used for Vista & 7.. Till now, no success!

 

rearm count = 1 on a fresh install, so it's 180 days - enough time for a solution to be found....

Yes, Windows Media Center can be installed; but you'll need a genuine key for that.

Not sure if you can change the editions as this one is different from the rest.
