    MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.8.ENTERPRISE.RTM.X64.VOLUME.ENGL ISH.DVD-WZT - means Non -n
    MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.8.ENTERPRISE-N.RTM.X64.VOLUME.ENGLISH.NON-BOOTDVD - menas N version

    sir, I have a question.

    I am currently using Win 7 32bit. Downloading your Windows 8 Enterprise RTM 64bit. Can you please tell me.. can I upgrade my win 7 to win 8 without formatting ?

    You can, but not with Enterprise, you cant ever upgrade from WinXEdition->WinXEnterprise

    you can not upgrade from a 32bit os to a 64bit one, you'll need to format and do a clean install;)

    This leak is the real RTM. There is only one RTM version and the delta is 16384. These are the same versions you will receive if you buy it in october.

    We will see who is right soon ;), the same thing happened with service packs of Vista and the RTM of Windows 7. The FINAL build will be 6.2.9200.16385.

    Again, lets take a look at the build string: 6.2.9200.16384.WIN8_RTM.120725-1247.

    This indicates that the build has been signed off July 25th. Gold RTM code was signed off 1st of August. Just wait a few more days/weeks, the final build will appear.

    Vista had 6.0.6000.16386
    7 had 6.1.7600.16385
    8 has 6.2.9200.16384

    Notice the trend?

    Windows 9 will have 16383 :biggrin:
