I am restore a dell pc for a friend of mine to its factory settings using the built in stuff, its been stuck on 21% for about 2 hours. I was wondering if this is normal? The little thing is still spinning, so it doesn't look like its frozen. How long does a restore usually take? I tried to Google it but couldn't find anything specific on time, just How-To's. Thank you in advance!
It usually takes 20 mins to 30mins depending on your hardware configuration. You may have to troubleshoot depending on removing peripherals and extra devices to restore.
I ended up rebooting it, it gave me a message saying it errored, I retried and it completed within 15 minutes. Thank you!
