Hello guys! I hope this is the right place to ask!!! my problem is , I have noticed that when i install "Realtek HD audio driver 2.70" -support w8 like they say- and do a system file check -sfc /scannow- it report to me that there is some missing files can't restore , any help here please
Will upgrading from Windows 7 lose any of my WMC settings such as scheduled recordings and custom pictures and video folders?
u can surely use the key on a reinstall as many times as u wish... but note that only on same pc (to be more specific same hardware)
Thank you. I appreciate the response. I guess while the retail copy of Win 8 Pro is transferable (it should be as long as it's not OEM), the Media Center license is not. I am thinking about upgrading my Media Center that also serves as my file server (gotta love Drobo). I have it set up the way I want it - TV programming and all. I also already bought the Windows 8 Pro because of the promo and got the MC license ... just afraid to do the upgrade because I don't want to lose any scheduled recordings and folder share permissions.
Does anyone know if upgrading to Windows 8 Pro lose any setting on the current Win 7 WMC? I don't want to lose any scheduled recordings and shared folders and permission settings. Thanks.
LOL. This update is certainly more clearer than ever, links were referenced better. Special thanks again to HumansCan'tBeTrusted!
Thanks mate. I was at my bussines for some time, but now i'm back. I will update FAQ frequently and maybe make other great thread.
Hello guys Can anyone tell me how to BACK UP activation for Windows 8 Enterprise x64(non N) version. I tried with Advanced token manager v3.5 RC4 and it says that" The product key detected not match with your installed license. Please input exact correct key into box, and check if it is correct" It gives me the "Last 5 characters of the real licence" And says to input the Product key And I even wasn't asked to input any key during installation. Thanks in advance
