is windows 8 retail version (to be available on October) difference with RTM version ?

someone said RTM needs to be voted before it becomes retail version. if there are many bugs, they need to change the build number to a newer build.

I recommend Yen or ancestor(v) to give HumansCan'tBeTrusted a special user rank.

    (OP)

    It's Same Version.

I will try to find out.

Would be cool. Pontifex Maximus rank would be awesome. :D:D:D

What phone you have? What version of android? And What exectly doesn't work?

EDIT: I think i found how to solve NX CPU problem. Almost all CPU's support it. It's only not enabled by default for some. Just search for information how to enable it on manufacturer page of your CPU.

maybe I am missing it in the faq but I havent found the answer as of yet, so what installation key do I use to try out the msdn iso images for win8 win8pro (nonvl, dont care for enterprise) just to make it work for a few days. As far as I have heard the windows8 installation NEEDS a key provided by the user in any case, in contrast to the win7 installation where you could simply install and use it unactivated for 30days or something.

I am not talking about activation or hacking cracking or stuff. I only want to use win8/win8pro for testing, like these preview releases in the past months. Is there any keys supplied in some of those internal configuration files on the win8 iso, or do some preview keys still work? where did the wzt leak of their isos come up with their keys to use?
    thanks for explaining.

You need a damn key and yes there's no trial. You can try key's suplied with RTM. I think they works.

keys supplied with rtm? the msdn versions are RTM as it means release to manufacturing. what does your sentence mean? where are the keys supplied? inside the iso? how are all these zillion people here on mdl or out there actually installing the stuff they download? we wouldnt all be here if we all had official msdn/technet etc access to the stuff, then we would have at least one key to install with.

again, i only want to test and trial the software, not to activate it. i wonder why msft made it so complicated to use their win8 for external people. it was very convenient to use and test win7 and you could easily buy an oem/sb license for it and simply enter your legal valid legit key and activate it.

this doesnt help microsoft at all to revert back to the old windowsxp and earlier days with their key crap.

There are keys if they ask for iso's. Whatever anyway if it's same as RTM.
