The NSBE Jr account that can get access to Dreakspark for $5, is the access to dreamspark for the 1 year as well or does it end as well as your NSBE Jr Account? I am REALLY thinking of joining for only $5
I guess what I meant is, have any of the non-international accounts had their DS disabled, or just international?
But it would be interesting if those who paid for a NSBE account also got their Dreamspark account disabled or not
My paid accounts still has DreamSpark access. Sure they have removed all free accounts? Anyone with a free International account that still has DreamSpark access, or someone with paid account that has lost access? About keys and blacklisting. It can take months from an account get closed to the keys is blacklisted. My first hand expiration is a paid Technet Standard account. Since it did not have some software I needed, I canceled my account and got my money back. The account was closed, and I lost access to all keys. But since I had all keys in a file, I tried to activate from time to time. I took around 2.5 months before all keys was blacklisted. A little longer time before I got "you run a "pirated" version of..." messages on the computers using the keys. But maybe they have improved this technology and keys get blacklisted lots faster now, then before? Time will tell. But they do not block the keys in one day.

I think many people got the free account, or did go for "pay later". and if they did not pay, the account at NSBE will not be active. Still, anybody with an actual paid account that have lost access?
Look at my post above yours. They have disabled all Dreamspark access to all of these accounts as they are not offering these NSBE accounts anymore (they concider "Paying people" to be valid members). Your NSBE account will still be active as mine still is, but the dreamspark account is no longer active.
Sounds good. I wonder if I have to make a new membership or if I can just change my current membership to the NSBE Jr account?
You have to get a new account. I also tried to find out if there was a option to change, but can't find any. And if your NSBE account was "blacklistet" at DreamSpark, the good choice will be to create a brand new account, to be 100% sure you get DreamSpark access again.

Well, I found out last night that my University has a Dreamspark Premium subscription so I contacted them with my student details and I received my account this morning. I had also contacted NSBE and recieved a blank email with a request number in the Subject but since I've got what I need, I won't bother with that.
Damn, tried to pay my dues but it is telling me that my card was declined. I have no idea why tho. Would it make a difference if my card is from Cairo, Egypt and not Tampa, Florida? Problem is either with my card or since the Zip of Cairo, Egypt is not "valid" with their address verify system.
I got booted too but I don't care because I got my 4 keys as soon as I got access. Besides the Win 8 keys there wasn't anything else that I wanted so Dreamspark would have been pretty useless to me now anyhow.
