I just checked the R5 that's out and I didn't see Win 8 on any of those screens during the opening scene. Looks like regular old Win 7 to me.
Don't know about you but I love this new design that canouna revealed! It's light and clean (no thick, glassy border as with Aero), it's bright and friendly (white background instead of this grayish color), and it has a subtle touch of Metro (rectangular windows instead of rounded corners). Plus there is a little color contrast with that colored rectangle in the upper-left corne, so it isn't all black and white only. All in all it seems heavily borrowed from Zune, but why not take up good ideas and refine them?
Yes I know that, but i had my doubts at first because I through it was Winver hehehehe can't wait for BUILD two weeks and a few more days <3
I'm pretty sure its the Windows Marketplace, since its clearly a new program added to Windows. The layout of the window looks exactly like Zune, and the Zune software got a marketplace already too so it's kinda obvious they kind of make the same look then but slightly different.
Actually, those are just concept arts of developers how they want their app to look like in Windows 8. Also a quote from the designer of USA Today one:
Microsoft will reportedly hand out free Windows 8 tablets / slates to BUILD participants, an event focused on the next major iteration of the Windows client. Per the PDC tradition, paying BUILD participants should receive next generation a form factor loaded with the pre-release Windows 8 bits. Chances are that the next gen device will be a Windows 8 tablet, but with BUILD approximately two weeks away, attendees won’t have to wait all that long until they find out. hxxp://news.softpedia.com/news/Free-Windows-8-Tablets-at-BUILD-from-Microsoft-Reportedly-218790.shtml
