It's there, I just checked on my Thinkpad Edge. Right click on Taskbar>Toolbars>Touch Keyboard. Unless maybe the option disappears if you disable "Tablet PC Components" from "Turn Windows features on or off". This is good for my Livingroom HTPC since I hardly use the real wifi keyboard I have for it. I usually just keep the onscreen keyboard minimized on there. I guess it's time to try WDP on that rig too.
Mouse, you just click on the letters. Just like On-screen keyboard in Win 7, they just changed the look and renamed it.
I don't think touch keyboard is a good idea, typing directly on the keyboard would be a lot faster that clicking the letters with the mouse.
Depends on the situation. Obviously it's pointless on a laptop. If I am on my couch and I don't feel like getting up to get the keyboard and I just gotta hit up a URL or do a quick search on the HTPC, it tends to be more convenient for me.
It's mainly there so you can type on your Desktop on a touchscreen. There also is also the old redesigned "on-screen keyboard" which can be moved arround Both are also there for people with a disability, so they can use their mouse to type in letters.
Is there a way to view the System Files in Windows Explorer? On the VIEW tab I have both File name Extensions and Hidden Items checked.
Movies and TV are my favorite past time and since I got rid of subscription TV my son and I use my HTPC all day long pretty much.
Format entire drive Partition to NTFS file system. I have no problem with my old Dell Inspiron 600M laptop in installing WDP.
