on the subject of tablets, what are people's opinions on the Dell Inspiron Duo? It has the correct resolution for the snap feature at 1366X768 and a dual core Atom... but the GMA isn't exactly a powerful chip at all really, I've heard the Duo is vastly improved by a solid state though. what does everyone think, is it a good thing to buy in preparation for Windows 8?
Honestly? "No" What we see next year will pretty much stamp everything into oblivion in the portable space (thinner, faster, lasting longer, cheaper) The Duo doesnt have a good battery, it's also kinda fat and slow, don't expect any proper GPU accelerating
hmm, thats what i was thinking, my tablet at the minute is big, slow, gets hot, VERY low battery life... seems to be a trend! best to wait until the new ones arrive, cant wait!
