Thanks ancestor(v). That's why I did not mention source as its already there on the picture watermark.
if you have checked about GDC. it mentions in one of the MS sessions (Developing a Great Metro Style Game for Windows 8) so its the only time i have read from Microsoft about new version of directx, no 12 but 11.1
What do you guys think about the Windows Experience Index in Windows 8? Will there be a new, upgraded index with updated scores, or the same index as in Windows 7? Can we expect to see a new WEI allready in the CP/beta? Any news about this?
The "access any files anywhere in the world" function sounds a little to risky to me though, hopefully you can Block certain Folders from showing up on your SkyDrive Remote view. Yes you need a phone to ACTIVATE this fucntion for the PC but.... you do not anymore after you activated... so there is a huge security flaw somehwat.. if you use this feature and someone gets your Password... oh my god
youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Mf_Qd0OYyTs Start at 3:25 and he talks about two factor authentication. What he doesn't say is how long a PC stays "trusted" or if it doesn't at all (and you have to enter a code every time).
My post was about Remote Access. Read the blog. "In order to access a remote PC, you will have to provide a second factor of authentication. This requires that you type a code that we send to your mobile phone or alternate email address in addition to having access to your account (if you’re already on a trusted PC, you won’t have to do this every time)"
once the public recompilation has been made...leaks are possible...but since it will be only 1-2 days before MS release... i think chances are small for a leak before 29th.
ironic how the guy who has had access to all betas thanks you for that post. Nothing against your post I just found that a little funny is all. I think he enjoys being one of the only ones here to have it and everyone knowing he has it.
Can someone explain? LRMCFRE_EN_DVD - Windows Vista RTM FRMCFRE_EN_DVD - Windows Vista with SP1 FRTMCFRE_EN_DVD - Windows Vista with SP2 GRMCULFRER_EN_DVD - Windows 7 RTM GRMCULFRER_EN_DVD - Windows 7 with SP1 Questions: 1) Why did L change to F during Vista RTM -> SP1? 2) What does C, CUL mean? 3) Looks like with Windows 7, MS maintained the naming; can anyone guess what Windows 8 RTM DVD label would be? HRMCULFRER_EN_DVD ??
So now that build 8250 has been compiled, it is going to be the offical build that gets revelaed next week yeah?
