I doesn't look legit to me either but that doesn't mean we must all start shouting it's fake. It's not the first time MS theirself placed a wrong EULA in the iso you know, I think Win7 RTM had EULA's from RC or beta in it. But zfeet, are you able to extract a buildnumber out of the iso yet? Preferably from a file in the sources directory but NOT SETUP.EXE as it's an obvious one and mostly the first file to get a fake buildnumber.
But i think they use the new EULA since a month now, since they started to compile WCP candidate, so this shouldn't be a mistake by MSFT. Also the it says 3,6gb for X86, thats to big, its arround 2,6gb for x86.
Well, 400MB is a lot, certainly if you also consider the fact that the WIM is compressed. It could be that there are a lot of new or bigger apps included, but I doubt as the store goes online now so they should include no apps and let us download what we want. On the other hand it could also be that the wim is a sysprepped hdd capture like the HP leak, and if the maker didn't use compress maximum then that results in a bigger iso too.
That's true, we can't say already that it is 100% fake. The only way is for someone to finish the download. Someone is close?
Nope, I stopped downloading already. I might start it again if it is actually a self-built iso. EDIT: I did a traceroute of the seeder, just for fun. Ok so 400MB isn't caused by apps, maybe wim compression of leftover caches/superfetch etc that sysprep forgot... I only have one peer and no seeders btw, weird... But I'm behind tor cause school blocks torrent connections, maybe that's why.
Anyway, to anyone who is still downloading: set the last and first part, I think you'll be able to open the iso already then. Then download the 2nd and 2nd last part, you can then start exploring the files inside already. If you notice than the 2nd file already contains a part of install.wim you can work from end to beginning or visa versa, you see.
downloading with 2 mbps after I finish I can confirm if it's real CRAP! I think the seeder from which I was downloading just went off...not even a kb per second right now so...
