WDP is back there. I have MSDN account so I think the keys will be available as well as soon as it is released.
OMG,after 215 pages,it's real??? or a msdn joke T___T System Requirements The Windows 8 Developer Preview works great on the same hardware that powers Windows Vista and Windows 7: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit) 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit) DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver Taking advantage of touch input requires a screen that supports multi-touch To run Metro style Apps, you need a screen resolution of 1024 X 768 or greater T____T 1024x768
That was a direct quote from the TechNet site page. I simply copied and pasted it here. thus the linky on the bottom so there is no mistake in interpretation.
The requirements may be the same, but please note that the original poster had noted that WDP was missing from MSDN and I had pasted the link to point him towards the WDP, which will be anyway be succeeded by WCP next week. That is the point of this whole thread. WDP has been up since Sep 2011. Anyway that was not the original intention of this thread, and so I close my comment now. I should not be blamed if people confuse WDP for WCP and think the download is live.
Yes, I noticed you likely did copy and paste. Here is a copy and paste of the latest which changes the date: "Beginning in mid-March 2012, subscribers to TechNet Subscriptions (excluding TechNet Standard which are entitled to 2 keys per product) may access a maximum allocation of three (3) product keys for Microsoft Office and Windows Client products in connection with their subscription. The allotted keys may only be used for software evaluation purposes. Once the maximum keys have been activated, no more keys will be made available. Additional product keys may be acquired through the purchase of an additional subscription."
Yea, it makes sense in fact. Ultimate was mostly for bitlocker and multi language support, but now the language supports gets for everyone, so bitlocker was would be only plus which makes no sense. See it as the normal version is for people who just use the computer to browse web/play games etc.. Enterprise is for the working people at office, just like now. Professional for the heavy users like developers.
Faking news!!! If Windows 8 becomes a success, Redmond(WA) will be renamed as the Microsoft Metropoliton!
