Thanks for your explanation. Since I am just on the cautious side, i am assuming that Windows 8 Enterprise may have disabled Windows components need to play games. After all, this SKU is not designed for us to play games. Anyway, my assumption may be wrong, so I guess that you are right.
I've got the strangest thing - whenever I try to create a new folder named "Windows Sidebar" in C:\Program Files, the folder just immediately disappears! If I try to copy the entire folder with contents to C:\Program Files, it seems to copy the files, but then the folder JUST AIN'T THERE. Seems you haven't encountered that problem? Does anybody know why such a weird behavior occurs?
The original "Windows Sidebar" folder is hidden, so make sure you go to explorer folder options and check to see the hidden folder/files, it should show now (this may be why it disappears). the folder is already there but empty inside, you can just delete that folder and create a new one.
If you want to change the window border with, here is how, I found this out just my mistake , just in case someone wants this Go to Registry to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowsMetrics and change hte "PaddedBorderWith" to something else.. the default is -60, I changed mine to -10 reboot Now it looks a lot better!!
I think when we can activate it it may work but I dunno, thats an awefully big bug! I have it too even after ugrading directx and installing a codec pack.
Please someone explain the 1000 rearms I beg. Have they removed the 3 rearms limit? Does that mean I can use win 8 for up to 1000 months or 83 years without purchasing it and without any issues as long as I don't mind rearming about every 30 days? If it's really so then I am getting the leaked version ASAP and keep my fingers crossed that they do not fix the 1000 rearms
