    He he nice!

Now our only problem is the A-word. But hopefully some solution pops up the next couple of weeks.

My tests showed that unless it's detected compatible you wouldn't want it on there, it took 2 hours to get mine onto an incompatible device, then it was still only at 7% hardware detection on first boot. I ended up using a WD Portable USB HDD and it took 10 minutes to get it on there and booted in 2 1/2 minutes the first time and 34 seconds each time after that. So if it's saying don't put it on there, your best to listen IMO ;)

    -EDIT-

I am happy to not A-word my install actually, MS did good to not disable anything important to make me fall in love with 8 even more. We can keep using it (well unless they release an update that blocks more in the future), but activate so you can customize Metro... I don't even see metro except when I press Win Key and type the first few letters of the app I want :D

    My 6gb/s SSD results:

Install time 6 minutes and 20 seconds (To Customize/Settings screen)

Boot time 6 to 7 seconds, depending on what I did before I reboot/cold boot. Man I hate waiting the extra second :p

Copy speeds are incrediable, I get 115mb/s through my USB 3 external now (that's up 24mb/s more than I got in 7)

Thank you for your reply, JaguarXJ12 :). Similar to you, I will be offline most of the time on my gaming computer, so any Metro app is pretty much reductant. Aero UI in Windows 7 is very nice to look at, but when you start gaming, the UI does not matter anymore. As long as we get used to rather bland Metro UI, the removal of Aero UI will benefit us gamers, with its speed improvement.

I installed the Win 8 Enterprise edition at around 10pm (GMT) last night and all was working fine.

I've woke up this morning to check if this was still the case and I've found a problem with the following:-

If I try to access Weather, Stocks, Music, Video, Stocks, Games & Maps apps, it just throws me out of the apps without opening them - I've restarted my laptop to see if that helps but the same issue remains.

    Is this an activation issue??

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Thanks in advance

No it's not an activation issue, it's usually a UAC issue:

Search Metro for UAC and pick Settings, once you've ran the UAC settings change it from Off to a more suitable one, Metro apps can not run without UAC being enabled.

If you still have problems after this it may be caused by a tweak or by removing/renaming a file or folder on the system, I had the same thing happen to me when I tried messing with things I shouldn't have been - but I didn't know that until I'd tried :p I couldn't fix it after that, I re-installed.
